Big rains up here the last few days 475 mm at
Cow Bay in 24 hours.
Daintree River ferry closed last 2 days.
Cooper Creek was over a metre Sunday. Great to see all the rivers getting a good flush out, waterfalls every where, magic time of year wet season in the tropics. Cheers Rob

Hi Rob, we saw the big rainfalls on the ABC TV weather with Jenny last night - should be good for you when the roads re-open, all those glorious vistas - gosh, I would really love to see a waterfall again.
Diamantina has another flush in it - big rains above
Winton last week put it back up to 5.1m at
Diamantina Lakes - this normally means a flood in
Birdsville but there have been no rains at all down this way. The
waterholes should all be nearly full and this next lot of water will be good - even if we can only look at it and fish in it. Not as good as a waterfall.

Hey Rob that's nothing. My front yard has looked like that a couple of times this year. We had 345mm in the last couple of weeks and I hardly noticed it :))

Ooooh Rob, you little darling. Did you sit up in a tree to take this shot. The best thing about this waterfall is that the water is clear, not dusty. Hahaha. Thank you.
