I've seen three stickers in a fortnight in and around greater metro Adelaide. With all other variables being the same this has to mean more people are becoming members here or at least using the site in ways which allow them to get a sticker. Has to be a good thing.
If only I could get people to answer my UHF calls!

Funny thing, I have never seen one, & nobody has ever commented on mine.
I live in country Victoria, near Traralgon.

My UHF stays off in the city 90% of the time. Can't stand the idiots and the language.

With ya there Brew - in my case 100% of the time.

As I'm coming in to town I take the aerial down off the roof and stow it in the place Toyota made for it (right at the foot of the wagon door).

The mean green shooting machine is a little hard to miss - unfortunately it spends too long in Adelaide - even if ya might miss the ExplorOz sticka amongst all the bl00dy permit stickas.

Ciao for now
Andrew.

Yes Brew I'd have to agree but it gets better after about 6pm and on weekends when the idiots must be in the pub.
So I just keep trying at those times in the hope one day I'll get an answer.
Those who have answered have largely been interested in the call sign and I have advertised the website to them.

Hi camper,
I saw one coming out of Sydney a couple of Friday nights ago and same thing, didn't answer my calls. Probably a good thing as they were off camping somewhere and I was in the bl**dy B Double earning a dollar.

2 weeks ago I was driving down Dandenong rd and spotted a black Lancruiser with a EO sticker , I got exited and sped up to have a closer look , only to find my wife driving my car. lol

So she had some explaining to do after she tells me she hates driving it lol

Hi Gu-Patrol,
I monitor Chs 10 (4wd), 11 (calling channel) & 18 (caravanners& campers) in the hope that I'll hear an Explore Oz caller and call occaisionally on these frequencies whenever I am out & about.
One day I'll contact someone. Which means I will probably faint with surprise and become a statistic. But it'll be worth it.

I'm not a big sticker person as I believe that they look ugly on a car. Saying that I have am EO wheel cover that tells the world my web site preference. Its funny that I have never had anyone comment on it here in Brisbane and I am yet to see any other EO signage around.

Cheers, Patrick
