Hello again from
sydney's latest nissan owner. Ive noticed under the tray ajacent to the sub tank(behing passengers
seat) there is a huge space which would be ideal for a permenant
water tank set up. Have any other nissan owners utilised this space in the same way i am thinking of.?
if so can you point me in the right direction for a fabricator(stainless steel tanks )in the weston
sydney area. I recon should be able to get a pretty good size tank inthe space. its in front of the rear axel and low down.
cheers don

Just something to think about with water if you are going 'remote'. If you have all your water in the 1 tank and something goes awry - no water. Thats why I prefer several 20 litre plastic - unlikely to loose the lot.

That's true. I had a similar set up with a separator and two fillers. (Basically two tanks) Also helps with baffling.

i've installed a tank in that space,
however i used a pvc tank designed for a caravan, it was about $80 new + a few fittings. it holds 70l i think, and is gravity fed.
works
well, and was a cheap set up

Goughs make an 80 litre undertray tank with multiple take-off points if that's any help.
