Howdy Mr Loose , Hi AL ,

I have been over to ARB giving the guys some lures and picking up some Scratch Pro type paint protection stuff .

I have sold a lot of my roughies and turned them into cash so I am not too excited . The All Ords was up 20.7 points today.

I go away for a big trip mid April and I was not keen to have a lot of stuff that could have bombed suddenly in my absence . That sort of thing needs constant attention .

I am off now to Coles to buy some food as we are going down to the Abercrombie River for a weekend camp . Cast a line , read a book , walk the river , chase a few goats and foxes , test my new Shellite stove , see if my new tarp works OK on the side of my car , eat , drink , talk , spot satellites etc .

See you ,

Willie .

Hahahaha good on you Willie. You have a damn good weekend mate and don't let too many of those fish, goats and foxes get away. Who knows, you might come across some of those ( insert four letter word synonymous with furball ) of which we are not allowed to mention :))))))))))))))

Willie,
if you want to go fishing in the Abercrombie take your own water.
went up there 2 weeks ago and like most of the rivers at present is pretty well only waterholes.
cheers
Howard

I didn't know you guys cared so much. I escaped from Hedland just before Christmas and explored the coast all the way to Melbourne. About 70% dirt 30% road.
Highlights: Coral bay at Christmas, 2 weeks without seeing a sole on the Nullabor and last but not least (surprise surprise)........... Karijini (not one other camper for three days).
Current plans unknown, thinking about a 6 month top end fishing trip, a week of commonwealth games traffic is enough to send anyone mad.

Only 6 months???? Don't rush it mate, take your time :)))))) Lucky bugger.

Re traffic, if you're heading north via Sydney, don't !!! It's far worse than normal at the moment. More like a sandbox for big kids at Lane Cove and the Gore Hill Freeway.

Regards

Mr Hedland ,
Or can we call you Stuck ?
Good to see your still out there having a good time and not back in red / brown Hedland - your not going back are you ?
A week of Top End fishing sounds good , but you had better shift your butt or you will be too late .
Keep having a ball and log in and update us regarding the good times and places .
Willie .
