hi all , i have what is probably a very simple question to answer. i would be grateful for any help you could offer. i am about to buy a 2nd hand suzuki sierra, i am after a hardtop one but most that i have seen around for sale are all soft tops. i live in
sydney and would like to know where i could buy a hard top (new or second hand), how much they cost , and where and how much it costs to get it installed (unless it is easy and i can do it myself)? thanks very much

places like GRP auto that mod lots of Zooks..Overkill Auto would be another.
Tradingpost, 4wd wreckers etc....
Zook club would be another GOOD place to try! Lots of people offload things like that in club magazines.
Installation should be something you can do yourself, they are removable after all!

Hard tops are normally slightly more expensive than a replacement soft-top - about $700 or so depending on brand.
But having a fibreglass hard top is not the same as getting a Hard top car - the softtop with fibreglass will still be noisier and rougher than a proper tin-top.
If you want the ability to chop and change, great, but realise that once again it's a compromise.
Maybe if all you can find is soft-top Sierras and you want a hard top you should reconsider some of the other competitors - like Vitara, Rocky, Feroza or even midsize stuff like 4Runners and Pathfinders.
