Garmin Map60C or Quest...I use the Map60C vecause I also bush walk, but my mates use the Quest. Both excellent units and quite portable.

Fergus, I read yet another post about GPS or OziExplorer today and it was the straw that
broke the camels back! I've decided today that I should start researching some method of digital mapping and/or GPS. Have a read of the articles on the Navigation page. There's heaps of info on there for people with all levels of knowledge and it's a good starting point! There's some pretty exciting technology out there! :-D
Cheers
Scoey!

Sorry I forgot to mention I have a Emap from Graman? SP.
Has no CD or cables Think I got ripped of :(.
Anyways was wanting to upgrade it as it aint much good if it just has basic map set on it they are a little out and not as detailed as I would like.
Is it worth chasing CD and cables and Mem card or Just get a rigidige new one.

I like the map 60cx. I plan to use on the bike in the bush as
well as the fourby. Not yet available here in Oz but will be released this month. The quest is also a good unit and comes with software you would otherwise have to buy with the map60cx.
Both are good units depending on what you plan to use it for! Both have city nav capability.

Ok I just rang some company at Monavale in
Sydney and they said for about $250 I could get all the bits I need (Card maps Cables).
Anyone have a emap? worth it or just get a new one?
