As soon as he sells his 4wd (Subaru AWD) I'll sell mine.

I'm glad they use "SUV" name to umbrella all of us together these days. So much more difficult for the pot to call the kettle black LOL

oh no

everyone will be affected and demand a larger pay rise to cover costs.

the real 4bys will continue its only the others who use it for school drop offs that will runaway.

if anything those that use the 4by for work and rec will by a bomb and use the 4by for playing in the bush, will still make us all want a higher pay rise to coverthe costs everyday goodthat frieght companies pass on.

so the idiot will win nothing andlets face it the gov loves high feul costs cos the gst gain is higher

I wonder how many people realized how big of a goose he looks by saying " sell your 4wd", ok, I sell my 4by and now drive a 290kw SS dunnydore that uses more fuel than most fouby's, and guess what, my 4by is still being driven around the streets albeit by someone else! So what did selling it acheive ?
Somehow methinks the lad doesn't think before he dribbles!

spot on.....even non 4WD people would think that sounds like bull#$%^. Nobody takes people like him serious.
He is a sad stupid man and hasnt spend much time thinking about what he said.
I'm pretty sure the 4WD scene pays more tax dollars than the Comodore mob, we go places and keep buying stuff and take money in small towns.
The SS drivers just go up and down the mainroad until mum calls them inside because its getting dark.

Hey I just want to know who to sell my 4x4 to? somone who has less money than me, and cant afford to put fuel in it let alone service the brakes, engine, tyres properly to keep it safe!

This guy does not have shares! maybe we should trade our 4x4's with people overseas.

Appart from being a right drop kick, this guy insults us by saying that the ally bar on the front of my Patrol could kill someone, lets say a pedestrian, if they were hit by my car.

OK SMART ARSE. I'll take the ally bar off my patrol and you walk out in front of me and we'll see if it make any difference !!!!!!!!!!

All 4x4 owners will go to heaven.
He will go to hell and when he gets there the devil will give him three choices.
He will look in three windows.
(1) In the fires of hell
(2) Bannished for eternity in a 4x4
(3) Standing in excretia up to his waste drinking cups of tea.
Being the wimp he choses No 3.
After ten minutes the devil comes in and states
"Youve been talking "it" all your life and now you can live in "it" morning teas over so back on your head."

Motorists in UK & Europe pay a lot more than us for fuel but they still seem to be able drive motor vehicles including SUVs.
An article on TV the other night showed that fuel prices over the last 20-30 yrs have risen far less than milk, wages, cars, beer etc., so does that mean we have to give up everything because of price rises?
You spend your money on what is important to you not what some "richard cranium" thinks (I use that term loosely). I would love to find out what he spends his easy earned wages on and then tell him what he should be buying and selling.

Who would be dumb enough to put a public transport system to say Birdsville, or Kalumbaru etc. And being hit by a bus is far safer than being hit by a 4wd. Has this guy ever been out of the city?

Clearly this f**ktard hasn’t looked at fuel consumption figures of most Turbo diesel 4WD.

By saying it’s good thing that fuel could eventually hit $2 a litre I don’t think he would of made too many friends with that remark.

We should all catch pubic transport> yeah well ok, I work 40K’s from where I live I also start at 6.00Am, so if I got up at 3:15 in the morning and got ready, catch 1 train and 2 busses I might make it to work by 6 if I left my place at 4am. Oh sorry Mr. Scrubby we can’t all live in a nice million-dollar suburb in Sydney 5 minutes from work where we spend the day telling each other how good we are.

$1.40 could be the psychological barrier of drivers of large cars> Well I just payed 1.33 I well I was a little bleep off but I got over it.

You know this guy has got a kind face, the kind you could hit with a brick. LOL

Maybe with fuel at $2/litre fuel substitutes such as biodiesel and ethanol will become more attractive to governements. Does this fool honestly believe that petrol and diesel are the only fuels available? Hope he is just as excited about the high cost of fuel when he realises transport of foodstuffs etc. all use diesel and any extra cost in fuel will flow on to everybody who has to eat!

biodiesel and ethanol will become more attractive to governments, Right on,

and then they can start Taxing us on that too at 33-cent’s a litre, oh +10% GST too for the states, along with LPG, Every time a good alternative comes along the first thing they what to do is Tax it, before it even get a chance to get off the ground well at lest they gave LPG a fighting chance but not for much longer.
