Hi all
We were due to leave for the Kimberleys via
Alice Springs on Monday travelling from
Brisbane to
Windorah and then
Boulia and then onto the Plenty to Alice. We had hoped to be in
Windorah on Wednesday/Thursday next week.
Floods have currently closed the roads from
Windorah onwards. How long are they likely to be closed?
Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

Richie,
Cooper 4.6M this morning, and 300mm over the approaches. Think Diamantina is still over at Monkira, and will be for next fortnight or so. About 3.5M at
Diamantina Lakes last night.
Didn't hear what Georgina is doing last day or so but think it is at minor, or lower flood level.
Come through
Winton to
Boulia, then Plenty. Ring RACQ for report on Plenty, or ring Glenormiston Station.
Hooroo...

Hi Graham
I believe the roads are now drying out and should be OK by next week.
Will let you know the progress later.
Thanks to all who responded.
