G'day to everyone, I'm looking for our first off road camper trailer, I can spend up to $8,000 but $7,000 would be less of a stretch.
My wife and I will be driving from
Sydney to
Gladstone Qld between 8 5 06 and 14 5 06 and we're hoping to pick one up.
If anyone has, or knows of a unit in good nick some where in that area we would be very pleased to here about it. (don't mind going inland or the coast road)
Thanks in advance,
Keith and Sandra

Sydney they are located in South Australia. Hasnt got all the whiz bang slide out stove/kitchen, or fridge slider etc but we will deck it out with exactly what we want on our way to doing it now. Here are the specs :::
7', 9' and 12' Campers available.
450mm high steel sides.

Just a thought thats all. We havnt had it off road yet so cant comment on that but if your on a budget like we were then I think it is fine. We looked at heaps at the caravan and camping show and these people were very helpful and seem to know there product. Only time will tell. Bill Laidlaw is the gentleman we delt with. Regards Steve M

Hi Steve, thanks for the info, they look like a good unit.
We live in
Gladstone and are flying to
Sydney on the 8 5 06 to pick up a Patrol so we will only be there a few days to look around and then drive back to
Gladstone over the next week.
Organizing a delivery from SA might be a little awkward, we are hoping to find a good deal on a camper some where along the way
Regards,
Keith

Steve, I'll give them a ring but I don't think I'm going to get what I want in a camper from a manufacturer for the dollars I can afford.
Thanks,
Keith

Give freedom campers a ring, you are not too far off the price of a new one, they might have a demo for sale.
they are in Tiaro QLD, just south of
Maryborough.
Well built camper at the right price.
