Hi..Live in
Jabiru..No doubt many are interested in the recovery going on after Cyclone Monica. The town of
Jabiru is fast recovering and although it will take 6-8 weeks to clean up the large number of trees that came down the town is finctioning in all major aspects without a problem. The Park has had a lot of trees down and this will impact as the "burns" proliferate, the burns will last longer as the fallen trees burn. We are now into the "dry" it seemed to arrive right on callender schedule i.e 1/5, have had a long late wet so creeks etc will take a little time to go down. Notwithstanding Monica our wet was marvellous, so many things happen during the wet that show the park in a completely different way to other times of the year. If you want to see some more on living here you may wish to vist my partners blog www.rooeytooinoz@blogspot.com .
