Not as far as I know. There is one at Lane Cove on the N side of the harbour though. Using the freeway it'd only take 15 minutes to get to Leichhardt. $3
Bridge toll (don't go through the tunnel) From Lane Cove, head into the city and get yourself in lane as you approach the tolls (left hand lane until you pass the tunnel entrance on your R. Then move over to the RH lane for W Suburbs) for W Suburbs and Liverpool/Parramatta. That will get you onto the Western Distributor. Just a short journey up there to the Leichhardt turnoff.

Lane Cove would be about two thirds the distance of Narrabeen and a hell of a lot quicker to reach. Narrabeen exposes you to the Spit
Bridge which is a shocker in peak hour.
From Leichhardt its a short step to Victoria Road head west an chuck a right turn onto Ring Road 3 which actually beomes Lane Cove Road which gives access to Lane Cove River Tourist Park - actual suburb is North Ryde.
Mate am assuming you are from
well out of
Sydney and are really just in to visit friends rather than stay for any period, shout again if you need more info or further clarification

Hi OldMike
Are you looking for something in
Sydney or are you prepared to travel for 2 hours?
If you can travel, I would suggest the Wattagans north of
Sydney on the way to
Newcastle. Turn off the freeway at the Morisset exit and turn left at the second roundabout. Head into Cooranbong and turn left at the SES depot. Continue along that road and it turns to dirt (good dirt and 2wd friendly unless wet) and follow signs into Wattagan Forest.
There are lots of camping areas
well signposted throughout the area and most, if not all, have pit
toilets and water tanks.
Happy to dig out map references if you need them.
