jsut a quick question for mellisa i think it was.there was a coctail for potta-potti cleaners i think you mentioned the other week how to make your own i cant find it and just wondering how you make it again i
remember borax and pino clean but thats about it.

Wasn't me but I was going to give it a try. Anyway, I found it in the archives (Answer ID: 12387, 2/2/03). Courtesy of Bruce, the formula is:
...here is a cheap to make
toilet addative...or chemicals...1 cup of borax..dissolved , 1 cup of pinoclean , 1 cup of cloudy ammonia , mix alltogether in 5l of water.. works real
well and should last for ages and a lot cheaper than the ones that you can buy in the shops...
Let's know how you go with it. We've still got some bought stuff to use up.

Yes folks the stuff works a treat ...we only
camp out and the porta potti earns its keep...the pinoclean is only for a nice smell , you can use any similar product for that part...whatever tickles your fancy...cheers

Do you use that for cleaning out after use or do you use it to mix in B4 using?? Any advice appreciated .Thanks

We use that for mixing in the bottom part before using...you could probably give it a rinse out with it after use if you wanted to ..it is so cheap to make ..but we just give ours a good flush out with the hose when we get
home. , that seems to clean it out o.k. ..cheers
