Err........Street Adress?

Google earth will do it but you need to find the address manually first because the free version doesn't know about the world outside of the You Ess of Aye.

Don''t know about addresses, but if you are looking for Australian locations, try a book (then you key it in to whatever), Dick Smith's Australia GPS Location Guide, which has over 16,500 locations for bush walkers, off-roaders, travellers, pilots, fishermen, sailors and anyone else who wants to find their way in and around Australia. So far as I know there has only ever been one edition printed (in 1996 and strangely enough those locations have not changed their position since!) and it is still available from Dick Smiths & Tandy stores throughout Australia, Mine is so old the pice on the back has rubbed off, but my guess was it is $A10 to $A15. Item code on the book (DSE) is B 9650.

If you are in Vic then go to:

Site Link

The GPS coordinates are on the bottom of the screen and follow the cursor

Don't know of the other States have similar systems available.

Try Australian Geoscience Australia this gives coordinates to within one nautical mile of most towns etc in Aus www.ga.gov.au/map/names/

Garmin's Australian Metro Guide has this facility. It is software and it costs.
If you have one or two addresses I can do it for you.

Big Fella,

Have a play around with the files on this site.

Site Link

Have not done it myself, but I believe everything you need to integrate street searches into OziExplorer 'should' be there.

Wazza.

The UBD city streets on DVD may be what you want.

I run it through Oziexplorer so it easily gives you coordinates for anywhere you put the pointer.
