G'day Eric,
you can get a rough idea by checking the Fuel Prices listed under the "On the Road" tab at the top of this page.
enjoy mate, my old stomping ground and my favourite part of the world.

$1.75 ouch..! $2.00 can't be far off then. Imagine that, 140 litres x $2.00 , would see the "Fill me Up Please" at $280.00.!
OUCH..............................................................................................................

Last Aug Mt Barnett was $1.85 for ULP and
Broome was $1.45 same as
Derby.
Kununurra $1.40 but 6c cheaper at WyndhamWorld oil price per barrel then was about to hit $70 and recently has been $75 so common sense and logic say petrol should only be 5cpl dearer. Oh, is that a pig I see flying past !!!! Contact Drysdale on their website and ask them directly. The rip off is with LPG. ULP prices in big country towns were only 20cpl worse than say
Darwin or
Perth, while the gas was 30 to 40cpl dearer. Good luck with your trip.

LPG costs more to transport unfortunately. It cant be piped and must be carted in a pressure vessel. Luckily for the Japs and Chinese they can buy it here for a few cents a litre, to allow for the shipping. Bummer we cant get the same concession!
The price city people complain about having to pay on their once a year holiday is what the country folk pay EVERYTIME.
Probably why there isnt many sympathetic responses from bush people
