Bobthe...
Hi everyone,I have just returned from crossing the
Simpson desert,recently on this
forum people were being advised not to swim at
Dalhousie springs, upon reaching Dalhousie we saw 18 people swimming, and a bus load of tourists keen for a swim arrived,I spoke to them about what I had read here regarding water lice, being bitten etc..6 people had been swimming there for 3 days. Without any problems. So the 5 of us jumped in,we had a bloody good time, without any bites,or sores any time after... I would like to read about your stories, opinions on this...!!!!

Hi Bob,
The only bities in Dalhousie are the small fish that will come up and nibble not bite, some think that is sensual!
The friends of the Simpson have been there lately are having a party on Friday night as they finish up this weekend.
