Just getting into the bickering about Waeco warranties and the thread get's deleted! That will learn me to check something in the middle and then expect to go back to the thread I was reading!

Leroy

PS I thought the posted was a little out of line 8-O but Waeco offer 5 year warranties don't they? So why then do the fridge shop only offer 1 yr?

Hi Leroy

I think the fridge shop stuff is 2nd hand and have been repaired by Waeco. They replace these items with new items and repair the old ones and resell them. Why its only a 1 year warranty though I have no idea.

Yup, was one of the better posts on here for a little while! People being told where to go and where to get off. Was quite an entertaining read.

This is a fantastic site for the exchange of info but it IS good to see a bit of net biffo at times. Adds a bit of character to the place.

Spot on!

Without "characters" this site would be so sterile it wouldn't be worth reading. The, difficult, job of the censors is to ensure that balance is maintained. I would prefer they erred on the lenient side - in the end these things tend to be self moderating and censors often just compound the issue and make things worse.

And the challenge for us "characters" is to see how far the envelope can be pushed sometimes, before it explodes. (or implodes)

People who read the now deleted post must agree though that the comments were somewhat repetitive and definately on the childish side.

For a moment I thought an old nemisis was back:-)
