Lift to Birdsville

I’m looking for the lift to
Birdsville around end of July or beginning of August. I will contribute the fuel expenses.
I'm experienced traveler (overseas student, now lived in
Sydney) who is planning some trek in
Simpson Desert – start in
Birdsville and walk along Eyre Creek with some short side
treks. Depend of
condition I’m planning to finish in 7-10 days around
Bedourie.
I did the
Canning Stock Route by 4WD last year
including over 70 km single walking in Great Sandy
Desert. I'm prepared - have topo maps
and compass, GPS and EPIRB.
Generally I’m hitchhiker but I know then in the remote areas is not so nice to ask for lift when cars are usually overload.
Planes are expensive and not so intresting like overland trips.
