Rhino rack roof bars

Hi Dudes and Dudettes.

I have the Rhino tradesman racks that you see on Telstra vans. I would like to put them on my GU Patrol (I'm sorry it's the 3.0l and not the 4.2l hehe) Anyways, it appears the the legs sit in the gutter ok but the metal bracket and it's cover that go under the gutter that bolts to the leg doesn't quite sit right. It appears that the gutter on the Patrol is a slightly different profile.

So can you order from Rhino new 3.0l GU compatible Patrol metal brackets and covers? Look if I need the added reliability of the low tech 4.2 version I would consider them also?
I have conflicting info from a couple of Rhino Rack dealers.

Looking at the Rhino Website, they have a gutter mounting system to suit a LWB GU Patrol 11/97 on. Doesn't distinguish between the 3.0 or 4.2 engined models.

Have a look at www.rhinorack.com.au where you can enter your Make/Model and it gives you the required components.

Or, you could ring them direct for advice re your specific problem.

I have GU 4.2TD Patrol with rhino racks and low profile mounts and you can buy the parts seperate plus spacers to even them up,so they are straight.

Visit ARB and they usually have the complete catalogue of bits and pieces on public display, they should know what fits a Patrol ?

I was just taking the P~ss with the 3.0 and 4.2 comments....the roofs are the same!

I called Rhino recently and they refer you to dealers. I sent an email tothem also and no response. So after calling a couple of places I get different answers but I shall toddle off to my ARB dealer and have a sticky beak. Thanks all.
