i was reading some of the old posts and noticed that a lot of peaple were asking for camper tops for there own trailer and it seems no one out there will do it or they will but they will sting you i went to a few different manufaturers like tru blue my opinon is they arent very experienced and flexible with what they can do with there canvas work, if you do descide to use them deal with the ownner not the know it all fat bloke that knows nothing.
tambo are good but dear and so are o briens but i found a small manufacter on the penninsula that will do a basic pack only on your own trailer starting from under 3 grand ithought that was a bargain they built me a custom camper to go on my boat trailer frame and alll good job never leaked so if you are interested give rob a call at ozzie campers on 0417 880 512 they also do trailers if you dont have own best pack ive seen yet worth a look

The own a tinny and the problem I had was I wanted to a camper but I also wanted to take my boat with me. As I already had a trailer I was interested if anyone could build me a camper to suit to save on costs(so i didnt have 2 trialers). I have seen campers with boat racks but to access my camper I would have had to remove my boat first. This seemed pointless and annoing if I could get around the situation. They made me a frame that sits above my boat and a cover to go over it so I can use it as storage if I wanted. This way I can launch my boat before I set up, or I can still remove it and carry it after...just as I would have to if I got a camper with boat racks. I have found that this was the easiest, my cost effective and practical way to acheive what I wanted....I not only save on just cost of buying another traler but also on second reg and general maintance.

If you are talking about Tru Blu Campers in Victoria, they burnt down a couple of weeks ago, proving that there is a God!
Primus make a completes Camper top starting at around $1900.00 all up including mattress, awning etc. Or you could try All Sorts A Canvas in Hastings, excellent workmanship & good prices.

Outback Canvas in Carrum Downs made a couple of my mates tops. Great job.
I saw a really good looking system in a recent magazine which went over a bike trailer for dirt bikes. Great job and another inovative idea.

mate went there with his trailer to get the top done $4500+ for the canvas work.
SCross $6500!
Found some dude that used to work at Scross who is working from
home $3000 in Ringwood somewhere.

outback leak like a sive and if you want to support the chinese invasion go out and bye primus but for me i will stick with all australian made and support the little guys out there and to the quistion before it was such a tragety that tru blue vic burnt down as i said in my first post the owner and his sun are all right its just the fat bloke you stay away from and it was there fault any way welding in a spray booth and they call them selves manufactures more like numb nuts no affence to any one that owns an outback i just have some personally history with the owner and will never support him and idont think his canvas work is good it leaks i will try to post some pics for you guys cheers hostia.

Primus do them $1600 for 6 x 4 and $2600 for 7 x 4 for a basic camper top.

hey shaker you are right i have had two packs made by them and now they are both standard rubbish trailers as for the primus packs i said earlier they are chinese imports wich i would advise all peaple to stay away from i have spoken to rob from ozzie campers today he will do any thing on any type of trailer he said his own packs that he sells are a variety of trailers steming from casurina campers,australian trailers, mc harrys campers and they will make there own custom at a price he all so mention that he is a wholesaler and has been for the past 15 years suppling a lot of the big named manufacturers and still suppling a lot to this day i know that it seems that im pushing this guy but he is a local in my area and with his knoledge and flexabilty i think all that are considering bying a camper should go see him
