Been a few queries about travelling in Qld.

I find these Mains Road maps useful for trip planning.

Free download in pdf format.

Times are in black, distances in red, and all rest areas are marked.
Times seem about right when travelling at the speed limit.

Any one know of similar maps for other states?

Thanks,

Have used these.
But nothing like having a map in front of you to work out stops for fuel and food.

Useful while travelling too when the internet connection is down :-o

I have used Travelmate to preplan a trip, or part of a trip.

Use travelmate to calculate the information then transfer it to a spreadsheet.
Finally print this out as a hard copy reference.

I find it really useful on longish trips where you can see at a glance how far (distance) you have between stops and how long (in time) it will take to get from one to the next.
