To cut a long story short, I had a problem with an EvaKool 240 / 12 power supply. The unit was diagnosed as faulty by service staff and replaced without charge or haggling.
Full compliments to a friendly and helpful team at EvaKool.

I have an early version and the ruber latches became a problem.
Call to evakool and problem solved.
Good mob to deal with.
Bit unusual these days.

Yep. they get my vote too!!
Excellent service with no hassles.
Noel, did you have to take it to the sunshine coast yourself? I am hoping they have organised a
Brisbane rep or pickup.

I posted the unit to Caloundra at my expense and a new item was returned with no handling charges. I'm pretty certain they have a
Brisbane repairer. Contact Peter at EvaKool and he will advise - a most helpful man.

I'll give them a plug too.
Some time ago, my wife became overzealous in attempting to retreive a beverage out of the Evacool Icebox whilst travelling. Later we noticed one of the rivets holding the pivot point of the latch had broken.
We recognized the problem was caused by us, but on contacting EvaCool, they asked for the model of the Icebox and posed not only a new retaining latch, but a new set of rivets that fasten the latch assembly to the fibreglass box.
No change incurred. Excellent Company to deal with.
