Nissan Navara's Rude Rear Window..!

As I drove home on the Monash Freeway the other night I spotted a late model Nissan Navara STR Turbo Diesel with a huge Rear Window Sticker, about the size of the window that said "Toyota Rescue Vehicle" .

Now being in my new 2005 Hilux SR5 TD I passed him slowly in the right hand lane and gave him a little toot.! Off course he quickly summarised the situation and tried to catch up to me, but alass he didn't have the grunt to do that.

The moral of the story "You can't resuce what you can't catch" and his rear window sticker should really have said "I want to be a Hilux when I grow up.!"

""""LOL""""

My cousin has the same thing on his 2004 Pootrol.

Must be a Nissan thing......

Kinda like mines better than yours, because I have a sticker that says so.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions for a Toyota sticker? I have been thinking of hanging some huge yellow D-Shackles of the rear, and labeling them "Nissan attachment points", or something to that effect.....

Any thoughts out there?

Haha here we go again! Just be careful cause some people get REALLY riled up over this issue! I have a sticker on my truck that says "Jake's recovery vehicle"

I drive a tojo and he (Jake) drives a trol - but only us two know that and this way it's personal! haha! And that's the way I like it! ;-)

Cheers

Scoey,

If people get riled up about this type of stuff, it kinda says something about them, doesn't it?

I mean, if you can't have a bit of a giggle now and then.....

lol

I'll confess I have "Rodeo recovery" on mine to put the wind up my neighbour who had "Nissan recevery vehicle" on his Rodeo. We have a jolly laugh over this. His brother bought a new Lux recently and is coming with us to the Cape so we are planning to add "Hilux recovery vehicle" to the other three trucks and not tell him off course. He'll be looking at them the whole trip and I'm sure he'll give us a serve.

Gotta have fun!

Kind regards

What about this:

Written accross the tailgate, in huge red letters... "Nissan Revovery Points", or "Attach Broken Nissan Here", with arrows pointing down to some D-Shackles.....

I could do the same on the Bull Bar too, I rekon.

Gee, I could even take it one step further, and cut out some little stcickers of Patrols, and line them up like the fighers and bombers in WWII had.......lol

Cheers,

Chump

I have seen the odd trol getting around with as ticker above the rear towpoint saying "Attatch buggered Toyota here"

Come on - someone has to take this to heart!!!! Or is everyone grown up today? Gees!

What about something like "I carry a complete set of Patrol belts and hoses....just in case" on the back of my cruiser....

lol

Not going to buy into the Nissan vs Toyota thing, but I saw a great sticker on the back of a 4WD which read:

'If you can read this,
take a photo and run for help.'

The sticker was on upside down.

LOL - I'm afraid I'll have to agree with you on that one - I miss my old Sierra....

It's a different type of driving in an old, beat up $2000 sierra as it is to a newish Landcruiser....

Well firstly I suggest that you must have actually recovered the vehicle that you are nominating.

Surely tojos couldn't claim to be Nissan Recovery vehicles as none have ever performed the task.

Tow first boys and then skite.

There was something funny about Moses wasn't there? Maybe he should have driven a 'Yota instead of a camel LOL.

Try to steer well clear of drivers with "Baby on Board" stickers. They generally can't, or do it very badly :))))))))

Nar it will never come back at me cos I am a good bloke and have plenty of "GOOD KARMA left up my sleave..! LOL

We all know that both Toyota and Nissan make fine products , we just love having some fun with our picks of who makes the best.

It's fair enough to say that while Toyota is typically dearer than Nissan that you'd expect Toyota to be about better by that amount. LOl

On a slightly different note all those old " Honk if you're horny/ love jesus / happy / whatever" stickers used to annoy the crap out of me till.....

One day in WA I saw one that said " Honk if you have never seen an UZI fired from a car window"......

and don't get me started on those " No Fear, Porno Star and Jet Pilot " wanky stickers....What kind of tosser would put a sticker like that on his vehicle ?

I'm sure all the women in the country go weak at the knees and are just dying to leap into bed with the driver of the passing vehicle covered with the afore mentioned stickers.....even more so when the driver hangs out the window and yells out something intelligent like " FWOA....NICE TiTS"

Personally I think it should be compulsory for every vehicle to have a sticker that says" DON'T VOTE....WHY ENCOURAGE THE BASTARDS"

Cheers...Taz
