Gidday all,
Has anyone ever heard of, or had experience with a small boat (3.19mtrs) called a Voyeger matrix. Its made of fibre glass and can be transported in three pieces. I have been offered one of these boats but know nothing about them. Are they stable, do they ride
well, are they a 'dry' boat , etc.
Regards Bob

No Bob,
Have read of, (but not had any experience with) a foldable "Porta-Bote"
Site Link
If you have been "offered" the boat (i.e. no money changing hands) go for it.
You can then give everyone a review:-)

Hi Boo Boo
We only know of the porte-boat one. Eventhough the base is flexible and you can feel the water passing under the
shell, it's a good stable design but not meant for rough waters. Been in one twice and we are looking forward to buying one someday.
Hope this helps?

I have done a fair amount of research on porta botes I they look good. So I posted a want it ad on the Trader and a bloke has got a fibreglass boat that splits into three seperate parts that he thought I might be interested in. Unfortunately it weighs 63kg in total which is a bit heavy for my situation. It seems I will have to decline his offer. Thanks for the info above.
Regards Bob

Bob,
I have got a 3.4m Zodiac inflatible for sale. It weighs roughly 35kgs. It's registered until December and has a 5 person carrying capacity on the compliance plate. Give me a call on 0427868495 if you are interested.
Cheers,
Al-one.
