Ive had mine on for 2 years and travelled on all types of roads both good and very bad.
Cost about $499 from Polaris near Parramatta NSW. They are now available everywhere.
Worth the money as I have 3 young kids and are also backing onto trailers all the time so it saves on damage to the rear bar!!

I have the Poron (aka Polaris) set-up. I have 2 camera (which the system is designed to support). One on the patrol's roof rack, angled down so I can just see the tow bar. The other is mounted on the back of the camper trailer. They are both infrared units, but in hindsight the one on the Patrol doesn't need to be because when I'm in reverse I have 2 work lights that come on automatically to light up the whole area.

I saw a rear view mirror with monitor in it and looked the goods , still trying to find who sells them. There are heaps of ugly ones on the market , but this looked factory. Someone said he thought it was a Lexus item , but havent spoted one yet. If someone has some light on this , please let me know.

Sorry, dont want to hijack the tread but thought it went hand in hand.

Hi Eric,

Here's a link to Brash Imports showing a rear view mirror with built-in monitor.

I haven't seen one "in the flesh" but I like the idea of it simply clipping over the existing mirror and the price looks reasonable.

Eric, my Lilleput is a replacement mirror with built in monitor, 2 channels and has mirror capabilities at each side.
You could google Lilleput or find them on E-bay to find distributors.
