Hi, does anyone know how dry East Gippsland is at the moment. Areas of interest are North and East of Dargo, Mount Baldhead, Mount Delusion, Upper Wellington river areas?

Pretty dry in the areas you mention. You could, probably, get a 2WD ute through most of the tracks from a mud/water viewpoint.

It is so dry in Gippsland at the moment that Miranda ( www.ladyredhead.com ) has gone to Sydney looking for work...

Couldn't access the site because the Adult Content site filter blocked me out but I have to ask the following question.
Has the KY Gell dried up too?

Somehow I just can't see Miranda helping dig a 4WD out of the mud :)

I, for totally inexplicable reasons, would assume that Miranda would, for a price personally do almost anything you wished, including give you a nice massage after you had dug her 4X4 out of a bog...Maybe she would be a wench with a winch,
Been serviceing the needs of motorists in Gippland for a long time, long before it stopped raining there although I have it from a reliable source she also is very interested in Dairy work....

She has the facilities although, it appears, not in abundance.

Calm down Mike....I was not infering that she is a milk maid....we were if you recall discussing the "dry" conditions in Gippsland. I wonder what she charges to make "things" wet? Be nice if she came by Torquay for a while, I would enjoy groping her looking for the light switch....

Bazil, When I made that remark, unfortunately I was still at work. Now that I'm home, let the investigation begin.

Real rain is very scarce anywhere in Victoria these days, can usually only manage a few miserable showers.

Although the area may be dry don't forget winter track closures are now in force and depending on where you plan to go they willlhave more of an impact than rain !
