HI.

Been painting the exterior of the house the last couple days, And man am i feeling it.!! Thought I was reasonably FIT, but climbing up & down ladders & chit, has now got me thinking, Tag along behind the missus every morning & go to the gym, or get into walking more bush trails, OR do a Jenny Craig thing??.

Cheers Axle.

Best way to get fit is to pack and repack for a trip. Make sure that you have lots of cans of food and recovery gear to hoof up and down.
Its also excellent for mental fitness and although it probably doesn't actually trim you down, you end up not caring anyway. :))

Stuff painting that's work, like moving microwave ovens.
Buy a guitar then buy a new house.

Ray,

I used to cop a clip in the ear (or worse !!!) from SWMBO if my eyes wandered. Now all I get is a mocking laugh and an emphatic "As if !!!!! " LOL

I know what you mean, I have just finished painting the spare bedroon and hallway. Sitting down now to watch the Sydney Collingwood game. The only reason I am painting it that shmbo then owes me a few days in the bush. Give the gym a miss - just get out in the bush

I REALLY know what you mean , just done some major renovations and now have a two story house. Got quoted 6K to paint the inside..... after my heart restarted I decided to do it myself!

I reckon it took 4 months to do it properly and go to work as well ( got to love shift work ) although by the end I think I was going around the bend a bit.

The good news is I have a month off over the next two and will spend it nowhere near any paint .

Glenn
