Gaday
Laura. Travelled on
Walkers crossing track last friday, is open, very dry & dusty. There has been around 12mm+ of rain fall from
Broken Hill up to Camerons Cnr last week so the Silver City highway to Tiboorburra is soft & rutted in
places but shouldn't take too long to dry out. I suspect Bollards
Lagoon would have closed the
Bore Track for a few days as there was
water in the clay pans but should be open by now. The road up to
Boulia is a dirt freeway, very dry (except where the rivers have overflowed) & even has a few long sections of bitiumum.
On this trip we found that except for the diam. dev road, most other outback tracks were a bit rougher than usual so allow a little more time to travel.
Cheers Craig.........

Laura,we came back last week,s,s,m,& tuesday from B/ville in the motor home into Innaminka quite rough & corragated,Innaminka to B/ville via Cordillo & Cadelga
Ruins same & the same into B/ville.Very slow for us as we had car & trailer on the back but i think without them it would be the same as i did not want to stuff the motor home, from B/ville to
Bedourie same again.
Bedourie to
Boulia you do get some black top.If you read my trip report it will give some idea what to expect, not the flat tyres though i hope.Cheer's Bob.
p.s have a great trip we did going so slow we soaked up the scenery more.

Laura,
If the
Bore Track is open then its a beautiful drive, we did it a couple of weeks ago in the other direction, much nicer scenary & its quite a bit shorter. Just ask at Camerons Corner if its open they'll have all the latest info. It will cost you $10 per vehicle which you pay at the
Homestead but worth it.

Did Innaminca to
Birdsville recently
Walkers crossing dry and sandy in parts no problems
Birdsville to
boulia - drag strip - no problems
Donohue much improved -
water in the geogina
Plenty bit rough after jervois - 100 ks of bitumen near alice bit of a relief after the rough section
Gary Junction to WA ok whoops you're not going there
Hope this helps
