evening folks
well that horrible time has arrived when the computor gets disconnected as we are off in the morning for 4 weeks 1 week in merimbula (looks like being wet) and 3 weeks hopefully wandering the simpson areas adjacent but if this weather hangs around and settles the dust around mt dare and birdsville and closes to many tracks we will just go somewhere but we are hoping that in a weeks time the desert will dry out and wildflowers start to bloom

Hope the country is good to you (and leaves some tracks open) and you to it (as I know you will).

Oh the uncertainty of wet weather travels, it could be worse... the inability to travel at all springs to mind.

Windy blustery rainy night - only 3.4 mm so far. Having a cuppa at this hour (I could go help with the milking) and listening to the panic in the lower level of the park. Everything should be washed clean which will be very nice. Been very busy with about 350 per night.
