I have a set of BFG A/T on my GU in addition to an OME suspension kit. The front tyres rub on the front mud guard brackets only when I am reversing with a hard left or right hand lock. They do not rub any other time only when reversing. As far as price is concerned can't help as my tyres were fitted as part of the deal when the vehicle was purchased.

I have Cooper STT 285/70R17's on the smae vehicle (2" Lift kit) and they used to rub. However, if you take the mudguards off and cut away the little plastic bit behind them there is more than ample room for anything you want just about..

With the BFG's my speedo is out about the same, I have already been pinged going through the Domain Tunnel....serves me right should have pulled the finger out and had the speedo recallibrated earlier on in the piece.

Do you mean the mudflaps and not the actual guards

Are you asking about my post?
Opps yes, I meant Mudflaps. I removed the mud flaps (three screws) and then with a small grinder cut the plastic protrusion off. The only purpose I can it has was a bit of support to the mud flap, but without it, I can still fit the mudflap back on when I am using my standard GU rims with standards tyres ( I have the Coopers on a set of 17" Steel Rims for bush)
