Hi,
I'm considering a possible one-way driving holiday from
Sydney to
Exmouth followed by
Perth. The plan would be to have the car transported back to
Sydney by train or truck. Does anyone know how much something like this would cost and who are the people in the business of doing this? The car is an ordinary stationwagon.
Regards,

Mate,
Just relocated from
Perth to
Sydney. My GU TD42 was trucked from
Perth to
Sydney for 900+ bucks via TNT.

just went thru all that stuff after buying a car in Bris and bringing it back to WA. Syd and Bris about the same, $1100-$1200 fully insured.
Shop around, Patrick, TNT Tols etc. Train was an interesting one , I didnt do cos it was full but you can only train it to/from
sydney if under 1.5meter high.
Adelaide-
Perth is 1.95 I think. But Adel-
Perth was $700 for car or $550 plus $340 for person in a
seat but no insurance. That is about the same as trucking Ad-Pth. Takes about 9 days by truck but train you will have it when you get off at the other end.

How about getting it transported from
perth to
adelaide as a backload price of about $300 it could be more now and then drive it to
sydney. The drive from
adelaide to
sydney is nicer than from
perth

I've only got a limited time. Thinking of doing
Sydney to
Perth to
Exmouth, then back to
Perth in 4 weeks. I'll then get a flight back to
Sydney.
