There is only a rough track and a badly maintained
limestone road.
It starts at the northern end of
Lancelin and part of it runs along
the beach.
Some say
the beach section is treacherous in winter but Ive only done it in summer.
Took me a good 7 hrs from
Lancelin to Cervanes last time I did it
There is some info and maps on this site.

Hi there al c,I was there in 93 when we went to see
the pinnacles, and the map I had showed, 1 road in and same road back out, worth the drive though, great to see
the rock formations, you can actually get in there no problems with a normal road vehicle didnt need a 4by mind you might be a different stroy if it had been bleep down rain for a while. Maybe there is another way but as said the map I had there wasnt. Dont know if much has changed from then to now all though I dout it Regards Steve M

Hi Al
Yes you can drive through Wedge and
Grey on
Beacon road, 4WD only.
The 37Ks to wedge takes about 1H,15Min then I would say another 1H to
Grey then only a short drive to Nambung.
If you havent done the drive before I would sujest that you do the drive in daylight, the tracks all lead to Wedge "DO NOT ATTEMPT THE BEACH" at this time of the year if you want to keep your vehicle.
I go to Wedge on a regular basis that is the easy part
If you need anymore advice please contact me CHIPS4WD@hotmail.com
Good luck
Chips

Did that track on Saturday.
Start straight from the
Lancelin Off Road Area to Wedge. From Wedge follow
the beach about 8 kilometres as far as you can go then take the track north to
Grey.
Grey to
Pinnacles is
well marked.
Its an easy drive really - I did the whole way with normal highway tyre pressures.

The next bloke through may not be so lucky!!
If the swell is up and so is the tide, it can be very very hairy along
the beach.
There's been more than 1 vehicle "
well washed" in attempting it in adverse conditions.

True Disco - the next bloke may not be so lucky but I can only state what conditions I came across at the time.
After all the rain we've had since Saturday who knows what the conditions will be like now.

We did it a while ago and with all beach driving get the tide info, got a map from the Service station at
Lancelin and followed it (sort of) it was pretty rough, but we found our way there easy for a Victorian.
