while over east I saw in a auto shop some of those reversing cameras that use a replacement rear view mirror as a screen. Cant seem to find anything here in WA, nor a mirror with suction cup to stick on the back window. I've tried super cheap and repco. The only rear mirror I found requires drilling holes in back door.
Anyone have any suggestions besides "learn to back properly" as that comment wont be appreciated by "her indoors"!

Thank you flash, but as in the question these do not seem to be available in WA. That was the question I asked so that I could VIEW these before buying.
Whilst I appreciate you taking the time to answer, a snotty comment probably wasnt necessary thank you.

You didn't actually say you wanted to VIEW them, you just said you couldn't find anything in WA.

"Cant seem to find anything here in WA, nor a mirror with suction cup to stick on the back window. I've tried super cheap and repco."

point was the comment at the end, but I can see how you may have got confused between "find anything here" and "buy one on the internet or travel interstate to get one"
I'll get a lawyer to draft any other thread I post to save confusion.
Subject closed, thank you for your comments on my deficiencies, I'll keep it in mind.

Fisho,

Also have a look at Brash Imports

This is the unit I am most interested in. I haven't purchased one yet but I'm getting weaker.

The fact that the Distributor/Retailer isn't "local" (as in my home State) doesn't worry me any more. I have purchased a few items on line and providing the business is reputable, it is a good way to shop.

Does anyone have this type mirror/screen fitted in their vehicle. I have also been considering this but am not sure about the functioning of it.

Any feed back would be appreciated.

Cheers

Don't have this one , but from some I have seen they work quite well , except they don't have the day/night function like normal mirror. Not an isuue with seperate in dash units, but not sure how the combined units would go with bright headlights behind you.

Morley Hi-Fi & Car Stereo, 144 Russell St Morley

I saw the exact same one you're talking about on display 5 weeks ago. From what I can remember it was somewhere around $800.

And no, I don't work for this company.

I know you want to look at them first fish, but the only place here in perth I found was progressive audio but at $525.00 too dear, as opposed to the brash model at $300.00 cut a long story, I ended up buying from jetview {hong kong} on ebay for $270.00 all in and was a better deal with more extras, the only down side if you have to send it back it takes 7 days for the post to return it but fully riembersed, all in all a good deal,
