Hi folks,
I am looking for a large (1100x550x400) Spacecase ...
well actually a large lockable robust storage box for my roof rack.
I have found them for $310+GST at
Adelaide Merchandising.
Anyone have any ideas for where they might be available for lesser?

Andrew, can try Paramount Browns and see if they have them - seen some sort of spacecases there.

Thanks Phil - although their service always is ... in my experience and their prices are usually only good for the junk stuff they have lots of.

i think jimbo put a post up on the weekend about k-mart having some on special for $200 but im not sure of the size i dont think he mentioned it.

Kmart at Garden City (WA) have them on special for $99 now. I was there yesterday but didn't get one because they were in boxes and I wasn't going to buy from just seeing the picture on the box. I might go back today and see if I can find an assistant to open one up. (Don't you just love an optimist !)

OK, so I got it wrong, it was on special for $199 not $99. But as it is 15% off everything today it came down to, umm, err, about $30 less than that. Still didn't buy one, couldn't get anyone to open the box.

Try ARB, they sell the plastic ones about that size for about $200 I think. If you don't mind a green one Member Message me and I can organise one for you a bit cheaper and I am in
Adelaide so no shipping costs if you can drop by my place or work and pick it up.

If you can find someone in the military they can get them for about $150 for the footlocker size ones last time I did it. Mind you they only come in one colour Olive Drab Green but that should nnot stop too many people.

they are $180 to the Militray but there is a national shortage at the moment and has been for about 6 months and they aren't letting us buy any.
