Hi forumites,

I have a GU Cab Chassis and was wondering if anyone can advise the best place to mount the transceiver unit? Easiest place would be under the driver or passenger seats, however, I would be a bit worried when it comes time for water crossings (might have a trip up the Cape next year).

Thanking you all in advance,

Sorry people....I think I have figured out that behind one of the seats will be best.

I may have a bracket that I used for that job, screws to the rear panel and the TX unit fits to it.
I'll check the garage later, let you know.

Yep, still got it.
Member message me if you want it.
It is a folded aluminium plate drilled to accept the TX mounting and drilled to screw to the panel behind the seat.
Trying to work out the best way to get a slab to Sydney may be the biggest problem.
