Hi
Been a while since I've been in the area but did plenty of
water sking in my youth there. Pretty hard to get close to the
water but if your ok with that, head down the
Morgan to Blanchtown road and take the Brenda
Park turn off. When you get down the bottom of the
hill as the road begins to bend around to the right towards the
shacks there is a fair bit of open land on the left. Head in there and find a spot. Could be a few motor bikes around
Cheers

Stayed there overnight last year in the caravan
park. There is an unpowered area on the bank of the river and the normal caravan
park across the road. Both are next to the ferry. We enjoyed it!!

If you wont to be close-ish to the town, cross on the ferry from town side to eastern side, and turn left immediately you are off the ferry ramp.
Down that road not too far about a K or so from memory, and take a track on left, there is a large area in there across river from SA
Water pumping station. There are no facilities in this area as I remember it, except plenty of "
water " down the
embankment.
As mentioned the
camping area in front of the caravan
park is pleasant but not as private.
Cheers Pesty

Cordola
camp ground. $5 a night, no facilities, absolute river frontage. Good access down a dirt road off which turns off the
Morgan Blanchetown road about where it goes to dirt. I think
the entrance is at 34º 07.641'S 139º 39.966'E.
Even at
Easter there were lots of vacant spots.

Went into
Hogwash bend last year on the way back from up north....o.k. but nothing to write home about...wood scarce , hard to get very near the
water...unless you have a tractor to get through the sand....if you are not interested in getting near the
water and do not want a
camp fire then sure , it is o.k. ....cheers
