Are Evernew caravans still in business ,I can't seem to find a direct web site for them only resellers of 2nd hand vans.I have my eye on an approx 1990 ish poptop.
I could be totally wrong but thought that evernew were one of the beter built units of around that time. Are these vans only suitable for the black top.

Yep, they're still in biz, but only have an email addy, not a website. I believe they are blacktop suited only, but as with most van manufacturers, you can order "off-road" versions.

Like strzelecki, I also have been trying to track down Evernew but with no success to date. They certainly don't appear in the Sydney Yellow Pages.

I'm not sure if says something about Evernew or Sydney.

Perhaps their vans are so damned good they don't need to have a website or advertise in the Yellow Pages.

A bit frustrating because I have memories of a road test from somewhere or another that gave them a good wrap, then when I've gone to follow up I come to a dead end.

Maybe that should tell me something.

It is not easy to modify a van and keep it looking good. I would advise strongly against it. Unlikely to get matching panelling.
$12k or even more if stored under cover
Fridge could be sus at that age.

LastAussieWorker, haha re the nic,and thanks for the info.Good chance there will be a few problems has been stored outside but under a tarp for 7-8 years.I slept in it one nite and the bed is way to short as they custom designed it and sacrificed bed length for more storage area, geeez it must have been an idea from swmbo.
