Hey there Turtle.

Don't have any plans for you, but some people have had success with a system called Cubelock. This consists of sections of extruded aluminium tubing that is assembled using plastic corners, etc. Used in combination with plywood sheeting, you end up with a flexible and easily built solution.

Craig a great looking system there mate you have now got my brain ticking over was going to use MDF for the whole lot but was a bit concerned about the weight. what sort of price is the materials and have you used draw rollers to help get the wooden _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx out and what type of latching system have you used once again very impressive.

Guys, the aluminium is 25 mm square and comes in 6.5m lengths for about $22, with nylon joiners about $1 each. The joiners are simply banged into place with a rubber mallet. I have Capral cut the aluminium into thirds so I can get it home (they don't charge for this that I know of) or they will deliver to your home for a fee.

The drawer rollers are on roller bearings and came from Elraco Hardware which is an on-line hardware store in Adelaide. The runners were $12 each and were deliverd within 24 hours to my doorstep. The rollers are attached to 16mm MDF inside the framing. Qubelok also comes with a lipped version for this purpose. The rollers are self latching so I haven't had to provide any other latching (they haven't come open yet after bashing on corros).

The kitchen in the above photo also has 6mm MDF top, 10mm ply sides and 12mm back panels lined with marine liner carpet (hard to see in the pick). This allows me to screw accessories into the sides and hold/tie down points on the back. The whole unit is through-bolted to under the camper.

The _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx are made from cheap builders ply form Mitre 10, but come up really good with a bit of sanding so I wouldn't worry about the expense of Marine Ply (one wrong cut and I'd cry!).

I have attached another pair of piccie's that should explain the above a bit better.!MPG:10!
!MPG:11!

Hope I have been of some assistance - by the way, I had to scratch my head for quite a while just tocome up with this simple outcome.

Great looking setup, Craig..I have just finished my kitchen, bit smaller scale.
Made of 12mm mdf to slide in the trailer on same side tailgate swings. Not as good looking as yours, cost me under $100 & seems to work Ok. Untested in the wild yet. Probably only half the height but uses all the available height available.
Sorry no pics, not digitiesed yet, spent the dough putting together a CT....Baz.

Cheeky bugga :)

Yep, had a ball thanks Pesty. And I couldn't wait to stick up the new rig pick...as it's something you don't get to see every day is it?

Cheers.
