Hi guys and gals,I have a 100 series Landcruiser, when I run the airconditioner I am getting a major water leak under the glove box about 40 minutes into my journeys resulting in a large puddle of water on the floor on the passenger side.Just wondering if anyone out there has had the same problem. Is there a fix for it??? Anybody know a good repairer for this problem in the
Sydney area??? Thank you

This is a common problem across most makes and models of vehicles. Usually caised by dust and dirt sitting in the ac condesor collector tray and eventually being flushed down the small drainage tube, eventually blocking it off.
Outcome is the tray ends up overflowing onto the carpet (first thought is usually the heater core, but a good clue is whether it smells sweet. If is does then it is the core). Tends to be worse in the summer months when you yse the A/C the most, and worse in more humid environments.
Another common problem is the rubber tubes get kicked and dislodged from the hole in the firewall (still work OK - no blockage - but deposits the water inside on the floor rather than outside via the hole in the floor/firewall)
