Airconditioning water leak under glove box in 100 series Landcruiser

Hi guys,I have checked the hose that runs out under the bonnet,there is no evidence of a blockage at all.All is clear,water seems to be coming out there,but the majority of the water is ending up on the floor of the passenger side.Seems the problem is under the glove box area.

Hi there barely, definately from the air con box, either as said above tube (drain) is blocked or the pipe has come off the drain box, you might still be getting some water out through the tube but obviously not the full amount so is backing up pooling in the air con (evaporator) box then overflowing onto floor,my hilux does this every now and then look under the vehicle and yes water dripping but then the wife will yell ahhh freezing cold water dripping on her feet, so I just get a cable tie and pull off rubber outlet hose from evap box and stick up the hole to clear it, I really need to pull the box right out as I think I have a leaf in there that keeps working its way over to the hole and blocking it, I dont use wire incase you happen to pierce the evaporator then your in the bleep thats why I use a cable tie at least it will bend if you stick it up too far.I doubt there would be a hole in the box unless your've been drilling up under the dash for some reason. You should be able to pull the plastic hose off from directly under the box instead of trying to get it from under the vehicle. Regards Steve M
