Hi all....
well im back from
Tamala with the tribe had a great 10 days. Tried out all the new toys including the coleman instant hot
water....wow what a luxury. Kids think Ive gone soft and I think thier right. Two blow outs in 50 klm can you believe it !! Had to leave a kidney with the tyre repair
shop in
Denham.....you could hear the cash register warming up as I walk toward the place.
Only problem on the whole trip was the wind...it blew its butt off the whole time. Still got in some great fishing and Ian and Kerry from
Tamala are great people.Already planning our return in July....see if the wind is a bit calmer.
Now to start looking for a few more toys.......wheres the credit card.

Well as far as what we caught....now thats an interesting story. The area we where fishing in is
a sanctuary for Pink snapper.....catch em and you have to put em right back and didnt we catch the buggers....some of the biggest I have seen and it was great fun even if we couldnt keep them. We did get into a few blue bone groper and tusk fish....and I missed the biggest flat head you will ever see. All in all a great trip recommend
the spot to anyone just go when the wind aint blowen or you may find you go to sleep in
Tamala and wake up in south Africa.
Bye the way the handle that I am using here is just a sort of mish mash of things Im a pilot and married a sargent etc.....so no real reason just seemed right at the time.
Cheers for now....

Thanks Flight, sounds like brilliant fishing.
Only reason to ask of the name was that a mate of
mine ,/brother/ was of a similar title: thought maybe you could catch up. so sorry, wrong address. JH.

Hey Shawn,
Where was your rig pic taken? Looks a little familiar but I can't be totally sure.

That was what I thought. Spent a lot of time out there myself learning how to drive and laughing at others who were having similar problems to me.

So its still windy up there ah?
I agree , its a great spot if only it wasn't so windy, we spent a week up there a few years ago in July(I think), the first day was great warm and balmy however after that it blew and blew, we had to shift the tent a couple of times. It was a waste of time taking the taking the boat in there due to the wind.
