I notice a fair bit on this
forum people asking for advice on trips to Tassie .Having been born there i am a little informed but when browsing the site recently noticed a brilliant diary or journal written by Andrew and Cinta from
Brisbane , all 28 pages !! Post 36802 and click on the link .
I would like to thank them for the trouble and work they have gone to just so our holidays are made that little bit easier .
They covered a subject some posting travellers neglect , FOOD !! From fine dining to your take away fish and chips .
Thanks again you " banana benders " !!

Thanks for the compliment.
That was done on the run - typed a bit every day. No editing after, and on the site as is.
Wanted to do another journal on our trip to Tassie the following summer, but leaving things like that to when you get home, they just don't happen.
When we did the Simpson earlier this year we had the best intentions to do the same, but leaving it till we got home, I've only got half way through it and given up for now.
We're heading back to Tassie for a bit again this summer, and hopefully we'll keep a bit of a record again.

We are leaving Tassie on the 3rd March Errol so if you are there then it would be good to meet you , if not have a great time
Ah , just noticed you are from
York , reputed oldest inland settlement in WA??
Must pay a visit to your town one day . Perhaps when the time gets closer we could contact , not sure if you have been to Tassie , i'm an original 2 head ( and proud of it ) and although its aprox 3 years since we were there think i could help you with a fair proportion of any queries you might have Thanks
