Does anyone know of brands of offroad camper trailers with canvas sides and a hard roof . I reckon the hard roof when pulled down on the trailer would be easy to seal against dust getting in, than just a canvas bag type over the trailer.
Thanx heaps

trakshak,trek,track t-van,
kimberley,
camp-o-matic
All have hard tops when closed.
T-van has a hard top when open (partly),
From personal experience, I had a
camp-o-matic leak while being towed just recently - a mate towing a soft covered camper had nil issues - simple sometimes isn't worse.

Coromal, Jayco, Goldstream all do an off road version if you are not into anything too bone shaking.

Gulf King Camper Trailers in
Bundaberg do a pretty good one with a poly lid on it that folds over and becomes the hard floor of the tent beside the trailer

Odyssey. Over 6,000Km on the dirt on recent
Kimberley etc trip, virtually zero dust. Just a hint via the rear hinges where the floor (lid) tips over, but it went nowhere, just on the inside of the hinge.

We swear by the Aussie Swag - we are just back from 14,000km trip including Tanami, Bungle Bungles and GRR. Virtually no dust got inside in 3 months, it's quick and easy to open and close and tows beautifully.
Well worth a look.
Good luck with your choice; Ray and Jenny
