Just found this one on the web, like Google ,maybe not as good ,I have not tried it for Aussie sites yet but I checked the Meteor Crater in Arizona , not sure if this link will work .

I just tried it on Ayres Rock, it did work but no where as good as google, don't waste your time

G'day Doug ,, yeh , hate to still be on dial up ,, its more updated than google earth , but can't get any closer than 2.5 km to my back yard ,, can't make enough out to see if we own it at the time it was taken ..

Yeh it seems to be newer photo's but won't go low enough, I do notice that if you type in a business name as I did with the name Meteor in the top line it came up with all the business names in the left panel starting with that name meteor,
that link i posted first up was meant to go Meteor Crater in Arizona I got there but the link went to the critter in the photo...lol. so Type in the Meteor Crater and have a look at it.

Have you looked at Skyview / Landonline? It's the WA DLI site with sat pics. Some of the photo's are old and pretty average, but others are hi res. It's a bit clumsy to drive

Have a look at the turn by turn feature ie location to location . I reckon it is great to find your way around those
places you are not familiar with.It gives excellent directions you can print out and follow and a map with a snail trail to match.

The NSW LPI site gives you VERY detailed aerial photos - I can detect the 50mm diameter vent pipe on our roof.
If you put in address, it will overlay the Cadastral
Boundary over the aerial photo.
