Hi Ian,
Where did you get yours in Australia, was it easy to self install and how successful do you find the mount.
Cheers
Stephen

Gday
RAM Mounts are fantastic as most USA made stuff like that is. I have used several.
The url www.ram-mount.com.au/ will take you to Southern Insights, the Asia Pacific distributor and a guy named Paul Bakker. You can view some of the range here. Email and phone Nos are on the website. I order direct from Paul and he Express Posts to me.
To see the full range of mounts RAM's USA Home page is www.ram-mounts.com. Paul can order anything you see there.
In WA Terlin Outbacker www.outbacker.com.au will soon stock Ram Mounts
Sorry no time this morning to figure how to make url's active.
I have no connection with the companies above, I am just a happy customer
Regards

I'm baaaaadddd!
I purchased the "now outlawed" VersaTrue ball & socket mounting system.
Probably works the same as the Ram Mount version, but looks to be superior in the locking lever action. (The manufacturers of RAM won a patent infringement case against Gamber Johnson for their VersaTrue system and VersaTrue are no more)
Anyway, have since coupled it to a Ram Mount Laptop "Tough Tray" which gives me a great solution for mounting the Laptop in the Jack.
GPSOZ are Australian agents for the Ram Mount system and are excellent to deal with.
