hi all
well just spent....a few grand on the old truck.........some was needed some for easier touring ..
well the
water pump gave up ..so there's no one.......and cause there such a bugger of a thing to change on the rb30.since it was going to b majorly.open thought
well..do the timing gear as
well.as don't know when it was done before i got it..all up $839..not bad i suppose...considering.its a pain of a job....then came long range replacement
tank .....stock is apparently 90 lt but i never seemed to get that in ...now 140lt.....$1000.fitted...witch was good.as most said $1100 upwards...but i think over priced as in only gaining 50lts.. and for a sub
tank.to b fitted
well we wont go into that one ..ok im just wondering y.arnt sub tanks standard on all vehicles..yer i know most new 4x4s have some sort of sub
tank .but i think all should have larger tanks as standard ........o another thing sender units for fuel tanks for my GQ after market $500 plus ...................now that's just a rip-off ...but we are cornered there as u got to have it so they can charge whatever and we got to pay it....same as fuel ....someone's getting rich ..and its not us.......
just my say
cheers Darren

$165 and about 2 hours on my 80 Series petrol too! Funny thing that - aftermarket was about $30 more expensive than genuine! I had to check a few times! :-) Stranger things have never happened!
Cheers

Yea, I'm also spending heaps on
mine and it's not even broke.
I'm not even getting any more accessories fitted either.
I've got withdrawal symptoms at the moment because it's in Hospital having some skin repair.
Bloody Isuzu paint job couldn't stand up to the Aussie sun.
Both bonnet and roof were turning white due to the blue base coat breaking down underneath the clear coat. Polishing not an option but if left, rust would eventually develop, so I took the plunge.
Don't know of and haven't seen another Jack with this sort of problem but it has only done 112,000 K's so is worth the investment I think.
Got another week or so, driving around in an aged Nissan Bluebird Adventurer, so I'm travelling incognito at present.
Gee, I miss the truck.
