At the risk of repeating myself, I have said before that I thought I fixed our CT
water tank plastic taste. Severe plastic taste that is. I have thought before I did it, but always kept coming back. And back. And back. Flushed and drained it so many times and re-plumbed I thought I was going crazy.
Turns out it was faulty! lol With some time off work, took it back to
Tambo, and them being true to their service quality took one taste and went phew, thats wrong! Replaced with 48hrs. And to think we lived with it (
well, washed dishes anyway, too smelly to drink) for months.
Same
water been in there now for 4 days, sweet out as in now.

Hey Tone,
Did you replace it with the same 60 liters
water tank? I think
Tambo now got
3 different types of
water tanks.

Hey Stan. Been a while! Yeah, they replaced it with the same size
tank. Have a new fancy valve to drain it now too.

Tonester,
Sadly there are not a lot of people reading this post.
But I will thankyou for it Tonester. It's really nice to hear of someone who not only got good service but is prepared to advertise the fact.
Well done
Tambo and
well done to you too Tone.
I had just figured you were filling your
tank from a tap here in
Broken Hill.

Not that I have an issue with our
tank, but just out of curiosity, did they say what was wrong? How can one plastic
tank be different to all the others from the same manufacturer? Surely other
Tambo owners must have had same problem!

Moose, yes, that thinking is mostly why this was such an extended problem! They brought the manufacturer in to taste the
water for himself (I repeatedly forgot to ask who it was unfortunately), and he also went eeew. The message I got back was that they do not know, but are guessing that someone, something, somewhere had accidently/deliberately put something in the
tank.
