I recently used this forum to research tents before outlaying the bucks. It was very helpful to me so I want to add my two cents worth in appreciation.
Most of my camping is done with just the boys so I usually just take my swag. But the handbrake says she wants to do some camping with me. Since a double swag was out of the question I wanted a no bullsh*t tent that was quick and easy to put up AND down.(I bought a BIG double dome one a few years ago and only set it up once in the back yard and vowed never to do it again unless I was going to be in the one place for over a month.)
I narrowed it down to OZTENT and BLACKWOLF TURBO. Both seemed to be very well liked with not much criticism for either tent.
So with two tents in mind it came down to the bucks. More bloody research later I stumbled across BCF. They had a BLACKWOLF TURBO LITE PLUS 270 for $649.(This size is only available to BCF. The drawback is that you cant buy the deluxe awning and the rest of the bits and pieces that I didn't want anyway.)
It seemed too good to be true. One phone call later and I was making a half hour trip to pick up my new tent.
Quick as a flash I was back home to inspect my new tent and in the true tradition of pitching tents I had to have a few beers before starting the job.
Well to my surprise it was quick and easy to put up by myself(Took just less than a beer)and was very happy with the size and layout of it. Ventilation on all four sides as well as vents on the apex. I just couldn't fault it. But wait....whats this?.....A small imperfection with the waterproof membrane on the inside of the wall. BLOODY DEVISTATED I was.
Well by now Im over the limit so there was only one thing to do. Grab another beer, take a quick photo of the damage with the digi cam and take the bastard down.
Well again to my surprise it came down quick and easy and on second attempt even fit into the bag just in time to grab another beer.
Well the next morning the trip back to BCF was made. One quick look at the digi cam and one of the staff was on the phone to BLACKWOLF. "No problems.Just swap it over" was their reply and a minute later I was back out the door with another new tent.
I patiently waited till beer o'clock and started the procedure again. This time I was even quicker to put it up and after inspection I was happy that no flaws were found. But wait.....whats this?.......This time it only took half a beer! BLOODY BEAUTIFUL.
A quick hose down to cure it and to see if there was any leaks and the job was done. The big test for it will be an eight day camp over christmas. Cant wait.
In conclusion to my long winded story, to those that are in the market for a new tent, I can recommend the blackwolf turbo tents.
p.s No I am not affiliated with BLACKWOLF or BCF but I do have a drinking problem.

Now you've had a few beers, curious as to why is it so easy to put up ? The Oztent is obvious, but the Black wolf turbo tent looks from the piccies like any other ...

The poles are all attached on the outside and fold on a aluminum knuckle, peg down the 4 corners put your hand into the centre of the tent and push up.

The tent springs to size then throw over the fly which attaches to the poles via clip and prestow up in 60 seconds.

I bought the Turbo 210 normally $799, sold at the Adelaide 4x4 show $620.

Ripstop poly/cotton canvas & Fly does not need curing with water as most do

Great investment but pricy, I to have moved away from the dome tents and was looking for somthing easy the OZ tents are to long to fit in most vehicles.

BCF has just opened a new store in Sydney and I saw the BLACKWOLF TURBO LITE PLUS 270 there. Looked nice but my existing tent has a few years left.
