I hiked that railway line from Moe in 1983 before they built [rebuilt] the line... Maybe I'll do it again. Magnificent country.
My family used to go up to
Walhalla for picnics when I was a little kid. If you met another car you had to reverse until you found a wide spot. The town has never become a 'ghost town'.. always someone living there.
Most of it is now your 'real authentic reproduction original buildings'. Still... a nice spot.
In a few months the bush will be back and funds will be raised... it'll be good again.
