Hi All,

Well after much help and advice from you guys we are only 10 sleeps away (the day after the schools go back and normality returns to CParks). 3 months away from far north coast nsw on a wine sampling tour(my wife used to work for a large liquor company) Upper Hunter. Mudgee, Griffith, Riverina, Nurioopta (Barrossa) Clare and then a month in Mr Roachies domain of the Yorke P en. and then a month to get home via the SA and Vic, NSW ( some wineries) coast route. YES BUT SOMEONE HAD TO DO IT !!!

A few creature comforts I would like to share..... I know this will and I have in the past offended the purists.

TV After much asking lap tops v TV and which ariels etc. Bougth a 10 inch LCD "Wintal brand" from Leading Edge/ Tandy at Ballina. It fits into a 2 wine bottle cooler bag for cushioning durin transport. The picture is geat.

Music. I have been away from teaching computers for 5 years now and deliberately haven't kept up with the mammoth daily changes... What about my music library ? I am a 50's, 60's and 70,s child. 200 albums. 4.2 gb on my home computer back up copies.

Solution I bought a compact cd hi fi system from Target for $59 ( stock clearance down from $120). It had a USB port. 2 x 2gb flah sticks ($65 each)will almost copy my full library. The $59 model will ( if you read the Chinlish) instructions slowly and often enough play the whole of the 2gb in random (yes random) order.

I am mesmorised by how far technology has moved since I stopped keeping up...

Off the air for a while but will lurk when I can

Regards
