Yesterday around 1 pm on the monash freeway we spotted a white very clean (looked like it had never been offroad clean) troopy with a bunch of accessories. It took the Blackburn road exit I think. we were just in front or behind and beside from nearly the city out
so hello to you

Has anyone spotted me in my new car? It's got EXPLOREOZ plates (WA) and is a very white clean softroader - it also has a big ExplorOz windscreen sticker.

No Michelle, can't say I have seen you. perhaps you had better bring it out on a run to the Riverland so that we can check it out.:)))))))))))
Long weekend, nice days for a drive, David at home looking after the kids. What a hoot. Some of the best wines in the country. Need I go on.

Hi Michelle,

Didn't notice you mentioning the EO wheelcover! Surely they come in the subaru size?

Kind regards

No spare wheel - a real softroader (Kia Sportage). Not the main trip vehicle and only do about 10,000km per year!

Trust me Michelle, the wheel cover is much more high profile advertising - the private plate is too subtle! Maybe a rear spare carrier? You can still get a flat on the local school run, surely you don't have to crawl under the car to get the spare?

Agree - but the vehicle will be airbrushed/vinyl cutout signage or similar as per the Landcruiser with our advertising. It will be definately become a moving billboard for ExplorOz.

Hey Michelle,

I believe you better update your Profile, that way everyone will know to look out for a Kia instead of the old Ford ;-) Des was right you should come for a spin over to the Riverland, We have one of the Worlds best Airbrush artists here www.rodticklesigns.com so the Sportage could look a real treat.

Max, That guy can paint any "body" even a suby although the missus would crack a fruity if I dropped hers off there for a few touch ups. LOL At least with her body, he would have plenty of canvas to work with. LOL
I'm glad Blaze has gone away for a week or else if she found out about this, I'd be dead meat.

I've been waiting for someone to say that - but there's a story behind this actually. My camera (Cannon 300D) decided on Xmas morning to not work - major fault, sent off for warranty repair. In the meantime, no chance of xmas photos, holiday photos etc, bought new car etc, then camera arrives yesterday but only partly fixed and needs to go back through the whole cycle again. So no photo, 'cause no camera but I'll see what I can do this long weekend ok? Actually the photo in my rig pic is exactly a year ago today - Australia Day. Have a good Australia Day Bonz.

Thanx Michelle I had a great one, now I just wish my rig pic gif file would work.

As soon as that camera is up I fully expect a rig pic update, and by the way you better keep a close eye on David, he accidentally fell into the Friday Funny thread today with a purler hahahahaha....tut tut tut :)

Australians all let us be Joyce
For we're all home by three
With golden soil and wealth for toys
Our home is dirt by sea

Our land is bound by nature strips
The mowing we do share
In historys page then let us age
And dye our grey old hair

hehehehe
Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi!

Bonz, you didn't read David a month back. When you updated from that point, animated gifs didn't work. My Lights stopped flashing when I changed a word. You will have to flutter another way.

Hi Nick. Yep that's my vehicle and you were in a green Nissan Patrol with a LARGE EO badge on the rear? Gave you a toot (on the way past!!) but didn't get your attention. Last significant trip was the AB but I do look after my vehicles...I can feel a V8 TD coming soon so residuals are of interest....albeit probably not enough!! Cheers mate and I'll hang off the horn next time I spot you!!

Leigh,
Must've been in a world of my own, I didn't hear you. I didn't spot you until you were about 30 metres past and I saw the sticker, then picked up the pace to have a closer look.
There ya go, don't see many down EO people here except 4 vehicles on our place with stickers and visitors to JohnR & moses.
Ok, if you do the V8 TD try to get it in the existing engine bay and under the bonnet, some of these blokes might mix you up with Lucy otherwise.......lol
Catch ya later,
Nick

Why worry about keeping up with the Johnses...... hard to match a gear list like that but you could put 285s on next time you do tyres, then maybe a cool paint job with some air brush work. and drawer systems???? they look nice but waste so much space that could equally be wasted by buying some plastic boxes from bunnings. I have a winch, gps, recovery gear, extra batteries, tools, inverter, UHF, 3 inch lift coming for my birthday and some new tyres in a few months what more do you need? snorkel and exhaust would be nice but how much carp do ya need. will hide a sat phone if I need it. mind you, looks like you blokes can get away more than me.
NickR

hey rock crawler, rabbits are still busy down here, I reckon your mother-in-law might be hungry in march or april.......
