Out of date books

I know its my fault and i should check first but 2 from 2. Decided Saturday morning to go for a drive with wife and 4yo from Sydney to visit a friend in Howes valley looked up my 4wd treks close to Sydney book (Boiling billy ) i got 20 months ago and thought the old settlers rd track from Paynes crossing would be a nice easy drive only to find the gate at start padlocked shut warning of fine if set foot on private property. So went the long way round through bulga . My gripe is i went down to yalwal when i first got book to do the Yarramunmun trail only to find it locked . Am i just unlucky to get the two iv,e tried closed or are there more from that book closed because at the moment its about to be used to start the next camp fire. Thanks for the tip tried website no info on old settlers track even tried the archive search still no mention of track

gates at yarramunmun are now open but the track has been graded no need for 4wd ,but some side tracks eg wombat flat will give you a challenge.good camping at the dam
